Therefore, we have the Nederrijn, passing 3 kms North and The Waal, 500m East and1km South.

The dew brought by the condensation of the high humidity coming from the rivers makes the place a micro-climate. The area is famous for it's orchards, (cherries, apples and pears), protected from spring frost by all this water around.
La rosée apportée par la condensation de l'humidité qui vient des deux rivières fait de notre coin un micro-climat. La région est célèbre pour ses vergers, (cerises, pommes et poires), qui sont protégés des gelées printanières par toute cette eau autour de nous.
